My family has no farmland. My parents work as hired labor for another family and they have low income, it is not enough to send my sister and me to school. If it rains all day, my parents can’t work then we had to have sweat potato instead of rice. I shorted many things for my studying such as: books, reference books, schoolbag, school supplies, uniform and take extra courses. I can not imagine having my own money to buy some books which I love to study or have any food I like. So I have to try my best to become a good student and I also recognized that studying is my only chance to improve my life and hopefully my entire family’s life too. A scholarship would greatly change my file giving me an opportunity beyond my poor conditions.
