Improving life for children and families worldwide is the mission of the Degenhardt Foundation. Currently, the focus is on humanitarian aid projects in Vietnam under the direction of Joy MyLien Degenhardt. The Degenhardt Foundation has received its 501(c)3 status from the IRS and all donations are tax-deductible.

Ben Tre Sponsorship Program

We are very pleased to announce that all of our students have received sponsors!

Ben Tre is one of the poorest provinces in Vietnam – it is down on the Me Cong Delta. The officials have once again asked us to sponsor 100 very poor good students. They cannot attend school unless they have a uniform, money for supplies and a stipend for the teacher. Quite simply – their family cannot afford to send them. This sponsorship is only $10.00 per month - $30 per quarter or $120 per year.
